While some #global #analysts look at #history over the last 500 years or longer to try to read the ‘tealeaves’, recognizing that #history may #rhyme more often than it may #repeat and knowing what #JohnMaynardKeanes stated: “In the long run we are all dead”, we choose to focus on #events that can help specifically #recognize, #understand and #examine #Causality over relatively shorter [and longer] #Time #Space #spans which is beyond the capabilities of the current generation of #AI #DeepLearning #models, despite the latest exponential #transformer advancements as in the case of #GPT3, etc. Such latest observations about #Deep #NeuralNetwork #DNN’s are based on the latest awareness about the #ArtificialIntelligence #transformers that can determine #correlation at best, and often really #bad #correlations in #noisy #data and #misinformation – but really very, very fast – that may obfuscate the true underlying #Causes that are material to building #explainable #AI and #trustable #AI. That is one of the reasons for the relatively recent transition of #AI #spokespeople from #BigData to #SmallData despite the #mistaken #myth ‘#Data is the Modern #Oil…’ It Isn’t!
