So what underlies all the #overhype and #hoopla behind the #ChatGPT such as in latest #NewYorkTimes articles such as https://lnkd.in/gsNz9ACt and https://lnkd.in/gSXy7Syy ? Nothing against the technology, it is mildly interesting… given my interest in #Large #Language #Models: https://lnkd.in/gGQRBvJC, however the related overdriven AI hype particulary by the #VentureCapital community is way, way overblown… Have these communities learnt anything from $100 Billion down-the-drain chasing the #Myth of the #SelfDriving #Cars… It seems like the lessons learned from the #FTX #saga need yet to be reinforced… as the #VC #Bubble-Making machine persists in #overdrive across both #Finance and #Technology.
